Pregnant ladies, rejoice! A genius mom has come up with a solution to make your favourite jeans fit a little longer!

Anyone who's been pregnant knows the struggle of trying to squeeze closed your top buttons, only to accept defeat and invest in a maternity wardrobe.

But Tiktok mom Natasha Sandhu has shared a genius idea for anyone not ready to leave their favourite pants behind.

She uses a hair bobble to attach the button to the button hole of her jeans that don’t zip up anymore, giving them a wider waistband.

“Jeans don’t fit over your bump? Not ready to buy maternity jeans? Grab a bobble, and try this hack with your fave jeans!” the mum-to-be writes.

She then pulls down her top to cover the unzipped top of the jeans, saying “no one will ever know!”

Another savvy mom suggested you could also use a shoelace if you don't have a bobble.

Some women even said they had never been pregnant but still use the trick for jeans that didn’t fit anymore.

Another pregnant woman showed an extra layer she adds to the trick to stop the zip rubbing against her skin and covering up the open area.

Writing that she is “using this hack on my pants until they don’t fit”, she shows a plain black tube skirt, which she puts on under the jeans then folds over the waistband once she has closed them with the help of a hair bobble.

You could use any skirt or vest top for this trick, and it means you don’t have to worry about your top being long enough to cover the open zip.
